London Fashion Week has supplied us with a plethora of sartorial inspiration for the season ahead, as has the beauty on the runways. From rose gold eyes to smudged kohl and statement rouge, here are the looks you’ll be copying this spring.
ROSE GOLD EYES
Airing on the less is more side, Marques'Almeida’s girls were brushed with subtle rose gold tints on their eyelids for a subtle and fresh take on spring. Recreate the look with our 12 Shade Eyeshadow Palette.
Sophia Webster’s winter wonderland theme made way for intricate embellishments, icicle-decorated accessories and fabulously flushed cheeks. Emulate their look with our Moroccan Rose Blusher for an instantly pigmented face.
If Julien Macdonald’s show is anything to go by, kohl is moving from the waterline to above the lid and we’re loving the statement it makes. Experiment with dark shadows, adding emphasis above the creases of your eyes- our Smokey Purple Eyeshadow Palette is perfect for this.
If you’re looking to add colour to your lids, keep it ultra feminine with pastel shades, just like the models at Mary Katrantzou. Soft pinks and lemons make the ideal combination, or keep it subtle with our Natural Nudes Palette.
Statement brows seem to be perennial if the last few seasons are anything to go by, with Temperley London putting emphasis on the brushed method. Ditch filling them in and instead opt for a Fibre Gel and Groomer combo.
Going heavy on the colour is so in right now, and it makes a significant statement when it comes to your lids. Make like the Versus crowd and try deep blue shades that creep from your lashes to your brows.
Metallic elements are still very much in favour this season, with gold nails accompanying the fresh new season bags at Mulberry. Go all out with a Glitter Bug polish or keep it subtle with a Smokey Taupe shade.
And the lip of the season? It seems red endures, with Osman showcasing the shade in all it’s dewy glory. Scarlet Red Moisturising Lipstick is all you need to achieve this classic look.
