Holiday (And Festival) Essentials

What to wear on holiday? If you haven’t Google-searched this yet, we’re pretty sure you’ve thought about it.

Finding what to wear on holiday can be tough for even the most style confident. Remember Coachella? Yes, everyone looked on point, but those looks didn’t happen without some serious planning.

So, to save you trawling through pages of fashion inspiration, we’ve pulled together your holiday and festival wardrobe essentials. Ready, set, pack…

Airport Attire

Yep, we’ve thought of everything. It’s important to feel comfortable as well as look good at the airport. Start with feet first – trainers are a winner.

Partner them with skinny jeans (with stretch), a loose-fitted t-shirt or a dress. Alternatively, wear with anything else that you know you’re going to feel comfy in.

Poolside Picks

We don’t know about you but we love swimsuits for the pool. Exotic colours, slogans, ruffles and prints – the more details the better. For us, poolside is about making a statement. These picks will have you doing just that.

Don’t forget to consider the finishing touches. We’re talking oversize shades, sliders and ripped denim shorts… Oh, and the inflatable pool float, of course.

Beach Beauties

No beach look is complete without a cover up. Keep looks pretty with floral patterned kimonos. Short or long, we’ll be layering ours over a simple bikini (or cossie) so all eyes are on the print.

Styling this look is easy. Add dainty jewellery, sunglasses with a light-coloured frame and metallic sandals, and you’re good to go.

Dinner Dressing

Dressing for dinner warrants a bit more coverage, but you can still show some skin. Bardot and one-shoulder styles are perfect for evening dressing.  Maximum style, without the fuss, they look great with almost everything.

If having your shoulders on show isn’t your thing, try tucking a classic T-shirt (with a relaxed cut) into a hanky-hem skirt to give it some attitude.

As for the shoes, try block heels for dinners that are slightly dressier or sandals that tie around the ankles for casual dining.

Festival Frocks

This is where the fun happens. Standout from the crowd when you’re watching your favorite acts in the main arena.

If you’re heading to a festival in England, you might want to try out one of our anoraks. Layer over a slip cami dress or playsuit and pair with trainers or chunky shoes.

If you’re lucky enough to be heading overseas to a festival, bring sandals, shorts and T-shirts, and go crazy with accessories and bright-coloured lipsticks.

Home or away, you can experiment with tassels, corset belts, bandanas, embroidery, body chains, anklets, mesh, and most importantly, glitter – it’s for grown-ups too, you know?

Nothing Booked?

Don’t worry, we’ve got something essential for this scenario too. Win your best summer yet by entering our competition to win a money-can’t-buy trip to Fresh Island Festival in Croatia.

We’ll cover flights, entry and accommodation for you and a friend. You’ll also have exclusive backstage passes to meet and watch one of the acts from the stage.

Not only that, we also have loads of runner-up prizes! So what are you waiting for?
