15th November 2016—Womens

An Interview with Milkwish

With party season now well and truly under way so we wanted to make sure you're looking your best at any party, gathering or events you head to this winter. Our 6 Ultimate Party Looks video runs you through some awesome outfits catered to all ocassions. From Disco Shimmer to Velveteen Dream, we've got suggestions for all styles.

But no party would be complete without some appropriately vibing music. We called on the help of Polish house producer, Milkwish, who did us the honour of producing 'Miss Teacher', an infectious disco track harking back to the glory days of Studio 54. With an eclectic style of production and a string of EP releases in 2016, we thought we'd catch up with Milkwish to see what else the exciting DJ and producer is up to.

First off, how’s your year been? Any major highlights?

This year was very good for me. I have made a few EP's including the 'Closer To You' project I made in collaboration with Tom Novy and Abigail Bailey, which was played by some first class players around the world. I also played some really crazy parties in Poland, Montenegro and Ibiza.

What projects have you been working on recently we can know about?

Actually I'm finishing a track with Sugarstarr - who's one half of the Gold & Platinum-Award duo Syke’n’Sugarstarr - there's a few wicked tracks with my good friend Miqro and one single with Tom Novy coming up soon as well.

Who else in house is impressing you at the moment?

A lot of guys are rocking the house music scene now, but i think Dario D’attis and Dennis Cruz are impressing me the most.

If you could collaborate with anyone, past or present, who would it be?

Frankie Knuckles - True House Legend.

Where can we catch you playing over the rest of the year?

You can listen to me on a radio station called Radio Szczecin Extra every Friday on Miqro’s radio show called 'Miqrokosmos'. For my booking check my Facebook page, to be updated where I’m playing at.

Any pre-show rituals?

Not really, just chilling and having fun with my friends.

1 piece of clothing you can’t live without?

My super comfortable adidas Superstars - I love them!

Any trends at the moment you’re loving?

Khaki colour clothes like joggers or jackets.

And any you’re hating?

Hmm... women’s pants which look like they are about 3/4 of the way through eating her alive.

Biggest style icon for you?

Giorgio Armani
