Not just an exclusive place to sit, the front row of every fashion show is an opportunity to showcase the freshest looks in your wardrobe. As the style set move to London, we’re looking at the hottest FROW looks and how you can achieve them.
NEW SEASON COLOUR
Proving that the new season isn’t just about tan and khaki shades, the front row of Versace showcased an array of colour, all teamed with hardwearing leather. Think bursts of red and bubblegum pink, paired with leather-look clutches and structured A-line skirts.
Elegance is timeless and this crowd were demonstrating it’s more relevant than ever. From filigree embellishments to romantic lace and gold shimmer, the style set at Julien Macdonald made a case for daytime metallics.
Where last season saw 90s elements in slip silhouettes and stand-out chokers, the autumn months are all about the subtle nods. Take style cues from the likes of Alexa Chung with pastel purples offset with hardwearing leather, and finish with dashes of silver for a shimmering new season update.
DENIM MEETS ROUGE
While bleached denim pretty much dominated your wardrobe during the summer months, the autumn sees it paired with everything from your downtime tee to your occasion pieces. Try a slogan top and shearling jacket pairing, or inject colour with a rouge tee for a cold weather statement.
Fusing teen angst-inspired grunge with classic workwear, the Versace FROW was all about taking the classic white shirt and pairing it with leather looks.
If House of Holland’s front row is anything to go by, unexpected pairings will be everywhere this season. We’re talking evening gowns teamed with simple tees and trainers for the ultimate in laid back luxe.
